Verbal argument leads to armed robbery in Regina

Regina Police are investigating an armed robbery between two men who got into a fight on Saturday morning.

Around 5:30 a.m. police were called to the 4400 block of Rochdale Boulevard after a man had his car stolen.

Police would learn that around 4 a.m. the two men, suspect and victim, had gotten into a verbal argument on Cavendish St.

The suspect had threatened the victim with a firearm, then robbed him of the vehicle he was driving.

The victim went to a friends house nearby where the two got into another vehicle and two drove around in the hopes of locating the stolen vehicle.

Eventually, the two found the vehicle in the 4400 block of Rochdale Boulevard, and called police.

But by the time officers arrived, the vehicle was gone.

The victim wasn’t hurt and for whatever reason, was unable to give police a description of the suspect.

The investigation continues.
