A Regina man accused of trapping two women inside an apartment on Monday night is facing charges.
Police were called out to an apartment on Halifax Street, just north of Saskatchewan Drive, just before 7 p.m. There was a report of a man attempting to assault a woman with a knife and preventing a second woman inside the apartment from leaving.
Officers announced themselves at the door and arrested Aaron Charles Ball without incident. They recovered a knife and found two women inside.
Ball, 39, appeared in provincial court on charges of forcible confinement and assault with a weapon.
