Ticket packages for the Memorial Cup Festival in Regina will be available starting Thursday with a pre-sale for Regina Pats season-ticket holders.
Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Jan. 30.
Full ticket packages for this May’s 10-day festival will cost $750 for centennial seating and $700 for festival seating. Pats’ season-ticket holders will get a $55 discount, but won’t be guaranteed their regular seats.

People who do not hold season tickets will be able to reserve ticket packages online starting Jan. 19, with a $25 deposit to get on a waiting list. The deposit will be refunded should no ticket be available.
The Pats are also offering an option to buy ticket packages via a four-payment installment plan.
Shaun Semple, president and CEO of the Brandt Group of Companies and chair of the Host Organizing Committee, stressed to the public that tickets will be extremely limited and demand is expected to be high.
“We know that everybody can’t buy a ticket so we wanted to create lots of free activities around the stadium but also have (our) version of Riderville in Eventplex going on with an all-star lineup,” Semple said.
Loverboy and Emerson Drive will be among the acts featured during the festival.
The host committee anticipates that tickets will sell out well in advance for the Memorial Cup opening ceremonies and the Eagles concert at Mosaic Stadium.
Semple said there should be between 500-1,000 tickets available for the general public if all season-ticket holders purchase a package.
“Regina deserves these big events,” Semple said. “When I go travel abroad to different cities and people say ‘Why would you live in Regina? Why would you have this?’ and ‘Why is Regina so small?’ These big events help set the brand to our city, it helps tell us about the people who live here.”
Passes for the celebration zone will cost $9.90 per day or $99 for all 10 days. A discounted rate of $4.90 per day or $49 for the full 10 days will be available for those who have bought tickets to the Memorial Cup.
