The best storyline for this year’s Super Bowl would be the hometown Minnesota Vikings and the dynasty New England Patriots.
This is fact.
While the likelihood of the Patriots getting to Super Bowl 52 is strong, with home-field advantage against the underdog Jacksonville Jaguars and disrespected quarterback Black Bortles, I really want to see the upset. Because this would go down as one of the biggest in NFL history, even if Tom Brady’s hand isn’t 100 per cent.
Maybe I’m the only one getting sick of seeing the Patriots play for Super Bowls.
In the NFC, I am going for the Vikings. It would be a wonderful story for a franchise like the Vikings to play at home for the Super Bowl.
The Eagles and Vikings defences are elite, so expect to see a 17-14 type game, if it even gets that high.
But when the trophies are handed out, I think the NFL will be very happy with Minnesota hosting New England … although I can’t stress enough how badly I want Blake Bortles to beat Tom Brady.
