Regina police extending an offer of a $25,000 reward to help solve the murder of an Edmonton man last year.
Abdisalam Dahir Nur was found dead in a home on McDonald Street, just west of Victoria Street and Arcola Avenue back in August 2016.
Although the murder happened in Regina, police believe there are people outside of the city who may have knowledge of the events that lead up to Nur’s death.
The vehicle seen driving away from the McDonald Street residence was described as a red Jeep or SUV, possibly with an Alberta license plate. Police believe that vehicle to be a Jeep Patriot or Jeep Liberty model. Police also believe the vehicle has since been painted black.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Regina police at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
The reward will expire at the end of 2018.
