A few Saskatchewan artists are hoping to come away with some hardware at this year’s Juno awards.
Nominees for the 2018 Juno Awards were announced Tuesday.
Regina-based band The Dead South and Piapot’s Buffy Sainte-Marie each scored two nominations apiece.
The Dead South were nominated for Breakthrough Group of the Year, as well as Traditional Roots Album of the Year for their Illusion & Doubt album.
Sainte-Marie is nominated for the Indigenous Music Album of the Year and Contemporary Roots Album of the Year for her album Medicine Songs.
Langenberg’s Jess Moskaluke also picked up a nomination for Country Album of the Year with her album Past the Past.
The awards will take place on March 25.
