A three-year-old girl died Tuesday and Regina police are investigating.
The child was found unresponsive in a home on the 100 block of Montreal Street North just after 9:30 a.m.
EMS administered emergency care and transported the girl to hospital, where she was pronounced dead. After the child had died, police were called to the hospital around 12:25 p.m.
There are no other details available at this time surrounding her death.
The child’s identity is known and family have been notified. Police will not be releasing her name.
Police, along with the Office of the Chief Coroner, are working to clarify the circumstances surrounding her death.
