Police got a call to the 1300 block of Garnet street around 11:15 p.m. that a man had been stabbed. Police found an injured 36-year-old who was then taken to hospital.
As the man was being transported to the hospital, police learned the man had not been injured at Garnet Street and may have been struck by a vehicle as well.
Police believe the events took place in the area of Seventh Avenue and York Street before the call came in.
Police are not sure if a fight was what led to the stabbing and possible collision.
Investigators have not been able to obtain enough reliable and consistent information about the event at this time.
