Have you ever had regret that you didn’t take an opportunity that came your way and you look back and think, ‘damn, I should have done it?.
You know, the person who laughed off Bill Gates when he was looking for investors or the buddy of John Lennon and Paul McCartney who thought, ‘nah, I’ll start my own band.’
I’m getting that feeling the more and more the Vegas Golden Knights win.
They’re in to round two in their inaugural season, which is unbelievable and they didn’t do it as an underdog. They won their division and will have home ice in the next round too.
I mused at the start of the season that this was the time to jump on a bandwagon, to be a part of something at the ground floor when the Golden Knights were about to start their inaugural season.
To change teams with no repercussion.
Now, if you buy a Vegas hat or jersey, you look like a bandwagon jumper.
And the way this season is going, why not believe they’ll win the Stanley Cup? It would just be more salt in the wound of this wanna-be Knights fan.
