Who would have thought a little tweet from a friendly Manitoban to the Green Zone could spark such reaction?
It was about parking of all things. Yeah, to a sports show. After a brief compliment, the tweet read: can you analyze why people in Saskatchewan can’t park in between the lines in parking lots? It’s anarchy.
It’s terrible is what it is. Every parking lot falls victim to those who clearly don’t give a crap or are too oblivious to notice their tire is two feet over the line.
Or are the lines to close together to make room for our ever increasing size of vehicles? It sometimes seems the standards for the width of spots is now based on smart cars, rather than you know… real vehicles that take up a little more room.
The debate then turned from parking to merging, a simple every day driving tool that appears no one in Saskatchewan has learned. A) Signal. B) Let people in!
Are Saskatchewan drivers really that bad and really not that courteous? Judging by the reaction, the answer is yes.
