A Regina homeowner is recovering after a run-in with thieves sent him to hospital.
Officers were called to a home on the 900 block of Elliot Street for a report of a robbery around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said a man was standing in his garage when another man entered from the alley. When the homeowner challenged the intruder, he was reportedly assaulted and knocked to the ground.
According to police, a group of people then pulled up in a black car to the garage in the alley. Another person got out and stole of the man’s property before leaving in the car.
The homeowner was treated for his injuries in hospital.
The first suspect is described as being a tall, thin male wearing a red shirt.
Police said there is little to describe the second suspect, also believed to be male.
