A man has been arrested after a sudden death in Regina Beach.
Lumsden RCMP said officers found a dead man inside a home Sunday night while responding to a report of an assault.
Police reported Monday morning they have a suspect in custody and there is no danger to the public.
People in Regina Beach were told they would likely see an increased police presence around the home, located on Fairchild Avenue.
Officers from the RCMP’s major crimes and forensic identification units are being called in to assist with the investigation over the next two days.
RCMP did not provide the names of the deceased or the suspect.
