A Regina man is recovering after being shot early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the 1300 block of Robinson Street at around 1:30 a.m. for reports of a weapons offence involving a firearm.
Police would learn that 45 minutes prior to their arrival, a group of men approached a 29-year-old man who was out front of his home.
A verbal argument reportedly ensued with one of the suspects in the group discharging a firearm at the 29-year-old man, shooting him. That’s when the group fled the area.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police searched the area but were unable to find any of the suspects.
