Man found dead on Retallack Street in north central

Regina police and the provincial coroner are investigating the death of a man in north central early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to a house on the 1100 block of Retallack Street between Fourth and Fifth Avenue at 1:14 a.m. where they found an adult man dead.

Several police units blocked off the scene and the coroner was called out.

The man has been identified, but police are working to notify his family before releasing his name.

There are no other details about the circumstances of his death at this time as police continue to investigate.
