Saskatchewan was third and just two votes back of Calgary on the question of who wins the West Division.
Saskatchewan was one vote shy on the question of who wins the Grey Cup. Edmonton had 17 votes, Saskatchewan and Calgary have 16.
The respect is there and the reason why is simple; Zach Collaros.
Collaros was also a star of the poll, ranking high for a breakout season, the new player on a team expected to make a big impact and comeback season.
There is something about having the appearance of stable quarterback that improves the prospects of a team greatly.
And that move alone likely allowed the Riders to get top support for who made the best off-season moves.
It all equals something I’ve been saying for a while now. The Riders are good and you should start getting very excited about the 2018 season
