Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings in effect for Western Sask.

Environment Canada has issued severe thunderstorm watches and warnings for the Southwest portion of the province.

Strong winds capable of producing large hail will pass through southern Saskatchewan via Alberta Saturday afternoon.

It is expected to reach the Battleford and Kindersley areas first and continue moving eastward throughout the day.
