A Regina man is facing multiple charges, but police are still trying to locate another man after a vehicle stop on Saturday.
Around 11:36 p.m., Regina police officers noticed a red Chevrolet Cobalt doing aggressive driving activities before stopping at an address in the 3400 block of Avonhurst Drive.
Police pulled up behind the vehicle for a traffic stop.
The driver initially spoke to police, but provided a fake name before running away.
Police were unable to locate the man that night.
The two passengers in the vehicle — a woman and a 23-year-old man — were detained by police, with one of them providing a fake name.
While the woman was released, the man was breaching a court-ordered curfew, forcing police to arrest him.
Police searched a vehicle and a backpack, discovering drugs that are believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as ammo and a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle.
Christopher Olinto Rioux is facing 14 charges including firearm and drug charges. He made his first court appearance Monday morning.
Police have the identity of the second man and are trying to locate him.
