Two young men are facing charges after a number of Regina homes were broken into through attached garages.
Police said around 3 a.m. Friday, members were called to a break-in on the 5000 block of Crane Crescent. When officers arrived, they noticed a vehicle speed away from the scene.
About 15 minutes later, police said they located the vehicle on Dewdney Avenue near Pinkie Road. Officers stopped the vehicle using a tire deflation device in the 1200 block of Toronto Street.
A 22-year-old Regina man was arrested and charged for offences which occurred between May 26 and Friday — including theft and mischief under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime and flight while pursued by a police officer.
A 19-year-old man was also taken into custody and charged for offences made between May 26 and Friday — including break and enter, theft and possession of property obtained by crime.
Both men will appear in provincial court on Monday.
