He was one of the longest-serving Saskatchewan Roughriders and now he’s out the door.
Rob Bagg was released by the green and white Saturday.

Bagg also sent a cryptic tweet of his own Saturday morning.
THANK YOU RIDER NATION.

Until this point, Bagg had spent his entire career as Roughrider coming to training camp as an undrafted free agent and earning a spot on the team.
Bagg was a fan favourite and his jerseys could be seen all over Mosaic Stadium on game day.
He was a member of the 2013 Grey Cup team and throughout his nine seasons with the green and white, he played in 139 games catching 364 passes for 4,705 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Saskatchewan also released Chad Owens Saturday.
Owens was signed by the Roughriders last season but only managed to play three regular season games due to injuries, finishing with 17 receptions for 235 yards and 1 touchdown.
Owens looked to secure a spot on the team early on in training camp, but was sidelined with an injury last week that prevented him from playing in Friday’s pre-season finale.
The nine-year veteran has played for four CFL teams.
It seems the Roughriders have also released veteran receiver Bakari Grant.
Grant tweeted Saturday afternoon that his time in Rider Nation was one of his most fun years in football adding “every good thing must come to an end.”

Grant started 18 games for the Riders last season, making 84 catches for 1,033 yards and five touchdowns.
