Regina police are asking for the public’s help after a home invasion Thursday morning.
Officers were called to a home on the 2200 block of Park Street at around 9 a.m. after reports of a break and enter in progress.
Four men had entered the home with what appeared to be a firearm, and threatened the people living there.
A 37-year-old man came to the door after being outside when the incident started and was assaulted by one of the suspects.
A woman and two young children were also inside the home at the time.
The woman said a large amount of money was taken from her vehicle.
Police said in a release the suspects are believed to have entered the basement suite at the same address as well.
The people living in the suite were home at the time and EMS was called for a man who had been hurt. He was awake and coherent when paramedics arrived.
No other injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as wearing red clothing. They were last seen fleeing on foot, heading west down an alley.
