People travelling west of Regina over the next few days may notice flames coming from SaskEnergy stacks.
The Crown corporation is conducting controlled natural gas flares Friday, Saturday and again on Tuesday.
The tests are a part of operational upgrade work on the natural gas system.
Anyone about a kilometre or two from the Trans-Canada Highway, just east of Grand Coulee, will be able to see 20-foot flames being emitted from the stacks.
SaskEnergy noted there won’t be any disruptions to natural gas service while they conduct the flares.
