Martin Collegiate was put under a hold and secure late Wednesday morning.
Terry Lazarou, with the Regina Public School Division, said a student thought they saw someone outside the school with a weapon. As of 11:20 a.m. that had not been confirmed, but police were investigating.
The high school is in the middle of exams so when the school was secured, Lazarou said there weren’t many students around. An exam was scheduled for the afternoon and it continued as planned.
Martin Collegiate is located in the city’s west end in the Rosemont area.
The hold and secure was over around 11:50 a.m., lasting around 25 minutes.
