The man charged in connection to a shooting at the Pump Roadhouse nightclub in 2016 will spend the next five years in jail.
On Wednesday, Omar Adbi Hakim Haji-Hussein he was sentenced to seven years, accounting for time served, he will spend the next five years in jail and get a lifetime firearms prohibition.
A Canada-wide warrant for Haji-Huessein was issued following an April shooting at the nightclub. Two people were injured.
Haji-Hussein was eventually arrested in September 2016 at a Regina home on the 100 block of Toronto Street.
The then 30-year-old was initially facing two charges of attempted murder for the shooting. He pled guilty to aggravated assault.
