One man was seriously injured and another hurt in two separate shootings Monday evening in Regina.
Police were called to a house in the Cathedral neighbourhood where a man reported being shot around 5 p.m. near McTavish Street and Victoria Avenue. He wasn’t seriously injured.
A few hours later, police responded to a call about a second shooting, this time in the North Central neighbourhood near Garnet Street and Seventh Avenue. A man was shot in the stomach around 8 p.m. His injuries are considered very serious. Police had no further information about his status.
The investigation is ongoing and police do not know if the two shootings were related at this time but are asking anyone with any information to come forward.
