Three men have been arrested following an attempted murder in Regina.
Police were called to the 1800 block of Greer Court, which is just north of Crescent Park, Saturday just before 7:30 p.m. after multiple reports of gunshots in the area.
Upon arrival, officers found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries before being released.
With the help of the canine unit, police were able to locate and arrest two suspects nearby in the 1400 block of Vaughn Street.
The third suspect was thought to be in a nearby home and despite attempts by officers to have the man surrender, the SWAT team, special weapons unit, canine and crisis negotiators were called to the scene.
After almost six hours, just after 2 a.m., the man exited the home and was taken into custody.
Joseph Littlecrow, 21, Donnelly Nanaquatung, 24, and Derrick Pasap, 26, are all charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Pasap is also charged with breach of undertaking and breach of a prohibition order.
