A 32-year-old man from Edenwold is facing several gun charges after Regina police surrounded a house Saturday on Ottawa Street.
Police were called around 4:45 p.m. Saturday with a report of a man with a gun inside a home on the 1600 block of Ottawa Street, just south of the train tracks.
After officers surrounded the address, police said a man left the house by the back door with a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle in the waistband of his pants. He was arrested without further incident.
The 32-year-old is facing several weapons charges and will appear in court on Monday.
A second man inside the house was initially taken into custody by police but later released.
