Police have confirmed they have found the body of 48-year-old Claude Landry from Kincaid and are continuing to look for evidence in relation to his death.
Landry was last seen July 12 in Gravelbourg and nine days later a 74-year-old man was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
A 42-year-old man from LaFleche was also charged with causing indignity to a body in relation to the case.
RCMP said they located Landry’s body on July 24, southwest of Gravelbourg in an open area. Those remains were transported to Regina for an autopsy the next day and it was confirmed to be Landry.
On Thursday, the RCMP Major Crime Unit south, along with the RCMP Forensic Identification Section, will be searching the Moose Jaw dump for more evidence. The search is expected to take place for most of the day.
