After the Riders loss to Edmonton, Head Coach Chris Jones said they were out coached. The team was undisciplined. There were wrong personnel on the field at times that cost them timeouts and he was ready to take the blame.
Zach Collaros, after missing four weeks with a concussion, was another in the locker room ready to take the blame as well. He said it starts with him on offence and he has to get better for the offence to find their groove.
Duron Carter, meanwhile, tweeted he was sick and tired of being sick and tired and has so much more to give. Then to the media, said he and Naaman Roosevelt watched most of the game as the footballs were being thrown elsewhere.
Carter, whining about a lack of targets is the last thing this team needs as they try to fight out of an offensive slump. Whether he’s right or not, they need leadership.
Stephen McAdoo faced the music. Zach Collaros takes the blame. Coach Jones admits he was outcoached.
Carter whines. I know who this team can depend on when it counts, and it isn’t the whiner.
