Some eastern parts of the province could see some very active weather Friday afternoon.
Environment Canada has issued tornado watches for areas like Kamsack and Yorkton. Hudson Bay area is under a severe thunderstorm watch.
The first isolated thunderstorms in Kamsack and Yorkton have the potential to produce tornadoes.
Environment Canada is reminding people to be safe if a tornado or a tornado warning is issued in the area. People should go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet.
It said to leave mobile homes, vehicles, tents, trailers and other temporary or free-standing shelter to move to a strong building.
As a last resort, Environment Canada said to lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris.
