Regina police are investigating two separate assaults with a weapon from Monday afternoon.
The first incident happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of Rochdale Boulevard, near the north Walmart.
When officers arrived, a 31-year-old man was found with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital.
The second assault happened shortly after around 5:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Garnet Street, a couple blocks east of Scott Collegiate.
Police said a 26-year-old man was found with “injuries consistent with an assault with a weapon.” He was also sent to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police didn’t disclose what kind of weapons were used in the assaults.
At this time, it’s unclear whether the two incidents are related.
Both assaults are under investigation.
