Police officers from Saskatchewan will be among the crowd at the regimental funeral in Fredericton for the two officers killed in last week’s shooting.
Constables Robb Costello and Sara Burns were shot and killed on Friday last week at an apartment complex. Two others, Bobbie Lee Wright and Donnie Robichaud, were also killed in the shooting.
On Friday, a public visitation was held for Costello and Burns, and a regimental funeral will be held Saturday.
Three officers from the Saskatoon Police Service and three officers from the Regina Police Service, also representing the Regina police officers’ union, will be at the funeral.
The three Regina police officers are all from New Brunswick originally, and one is from Fredericton.
