A woman who answered her door in Regina Tuesday night was reportedly met with a blast of bear spray.
Regina police officers were on patrol on the 1600 block of Rae Street near 9th Avenue in North Central when they were waved down by the victim’s family members. The woman was not seriously injured and was treated at the scene.
It happened at 5:15 p.m. when police said the woman reportedly answered a knock at her door and was attacked by a lone man.
Police are investigating the incident as a case of assault with a weapon.
