There’s no reason to be bored this weekend in the Queen City as there are plenty of events going on.
On Saturday families are welcome to check out the free activities for I Love Regina Day in Victoria Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mayor Michael Fougere said it’s a time to celebrate this wonderful city.
“There’s lots of activities for kids and for adults. It’s just a time to celebrate and be thankful for the great city we live in,” he said.
“We should be very proud of who we are, what we’ve done and where we’re going in the future, so it’s an element of celebrating our great city.”
I Love Regina Day will feature things like bouncy castles, sports demos and various displays from City of Regina departments like Fire and Protective Services.
On Sunday families have another option for free entertainment at the Harbour Landing Summer Bash.
The bash includes entertainment, sports demos and a barbecue.
There’s also the Saskatchewan Mustard Festival on Sunday at the Willow on Wascana.
And golf fans can head to the Wascana Golf and Country Club this weekend for the CP Women’s Open.
