Regina police are investigating after two people were sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
On Saturday, police responded to the 700 block of Garnet Street, just south of Pony Park, around 9:15 p.m. after getting reports of two injured people.
Police and EMS arrived on scene and found an injured 36-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman.
Their injuries were consistent with being assaulted by a weapon.
Both people were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is still under investigation.
