Regina police are investigating after a man was robbed inside his home by a woman who reportedly knocked on his door and asked to use the phone.
Police were called to the home on the 800 block of Broadway Avenue east of Winnipeg Street to investigate at 7:15 p.m. Sunday evening.
A man reported answering a knock at the door to find a woman he didn’t know who asked if she could use his phone. He allowed the woman inside then asked her to leave when she was done.
He told police it was at that point the suspect grabbed a knife and demanded money. Police said the victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and then the suspect left. He wasn’t injured.
The suspect is described as an Indigenous woman in her 30s, five feet six inches tall with a medium build and was wearing all black clothing with sandals.
