The RCMP will be providing an update on the status of a six-year-old girl who was found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Sunday evening.
RCMP reported Monday morning that Emma O’Keeffe, 6, was found safe in North Battleford around 6:45 a.m., more than 12 hours since she was first reported missing when an SUV was stolen from outside a strip mall while she was inside.
The little girl who has autism and epilepsy was found in a truck yard in the industrial area of the city by a worker who spotted the SUV and found her inside.
RCMP said she was receiving medical care on Monday morning.
