After two years heading Saskatchewan’s RCMP, Curtis Zablocki will become the new commanding officer in Alberta.
A media release from the Alberta government Friday said Zablocki is replacing deputy commissioner Todd Shean, who is retiring after a 32-year career.
According to the release, this is a homecoming for Zablocki, who spent most of his nearly three-decade career in Alberta.
It’s not clear when he will officially take over the role or who will replace him in Saskatchewan.
