Regina police are asking for help locating a former Saskatchewan Roughrider.
Justin Cox has been charged with assault after police found a woman injured in a home in east Regina on Sept. 25, however, they have been unable to find him.
This marks the third time that Cox has been charged with assault since April of 2017.
The Roughriders released the defensive back that same month, however, he was acquitted after it was ruled there wasn’t enough evidence to support a domestic violence accusation.
The Riders never brought him back.
In August of 2017, Cox was charged with assault a second time. He pleaded guilty to that charge earlier this month and is awaiting sentencing.
Regina police ask any who sees him to contact them at 306-777-6500, the nearest municipal police service or RCMP detachment, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
