Police have arrested and charged three people after a 21-year-old woman was reportedly kidnapped and then dumped in a field.
RCMP contacted Regina police Wednesday morning indicating they had found a woman who had been left in a field. She was already in hospital at this time.
The woman indicated to police the incident began Tuesday at a home on the 1200 block of McTavish Street. The woman said she had been assaulted, placed in the trunk of a vehicle and then driven out of the city.
Police said it appears the victim and the suspects are known to each other.
The victim was located by a passerby who assisted her and contacted police.
Investigation led to the arrest of three people.
Cze-Sand Banab, 21, Allyson Kristina Bachiu, 28, and Jamie Miller, 36, have all been charged with kidnapping.
Bachiu and Miller are also facing aggravated assault charges.
All three appeared in court on Friday.
