Lorne Tardif, operating as Elite Eavestroughing, pleaded guilty to breaching a clause in the safety regulations as an employer for failing to provide proper instruction, training and supervision to protect workers.

The company pleaded guilty on Oct. 3, 2018, in Moose Jaw Provincial Court.
The company was fined $17,000 plus a surcharge of $6,800 equaling $23,800 in fines. Two additional charges were withdrawn.
