Three people are facing charges following an armed robbery in Moose Jaw on Thursday.
Police said two masked men walked into a store on the 400 block of High Street West, one with a machete and the other with a gun. They demanded cash and merchandise, before fleeing the scene in what police believe to be a vehicle waiting for them down the street.
Moose Jaw police were able to locate one of the suspects inside a home on the east side of the city.
RCMP tracked down the vehicle in Regina, where officers tried to pull it over, but the driver refused.
Police chased the vehicle for a short time before calling off the pursuit, due to the speed and volume of traffic.
Regina police eventually found the vehicle abandoned in a parking lot and saw the suspects running away.
After a short foot chase, officers were able to catch and arrest the two.
A man from Moose Jaw is charged with robbery with an airsoft pistol, along with several gun-related offenses and disguise with intent.
