The Regina Thunder will be hoping to ride the momentum of their regular-season finale into the playoffs after getting a 70-6 win over the Calgary Colts Sunday.
Calgary didn’t get onto the scoreboard until there was under two minutes left in the game.
The Thunder will finish the season with a 5-3 record, which will be good enough for third place in the Prairie Football Conference.
Regina will travel to Edmonton next week to meet the Huskies in a semi-final game.
The two teams split the season series, with the Thunder winning the first game 28-17 and the Huskies winning the second 27-17.
