You think Sidney Crosby is curious why people ask him who the best player in the NHL is?
He’s only won three Stanley Cups and continues to do everything at every area of the ice.
Well, Tuesday night allowed us to watch another edition of Crosby vs McDavid and a few days after Crosby nicely placed the best player in the world title on McDavid, Crosby went out and helped lead the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Edmonton Oilers yet again.
Crosby’s overtime winner may be the goal of the year as he turned the Oilers inside and out before snapping home the winner.
While Crosby has been outscored by McDavid in their five games head to head. The only thing that matters to Crosby is winning.
And he’s a perfect 5-0 against an Oilers roster with McDavid on it. I know, the Penguins are a deeper team than the Oilers but I think there was a part of Crosby that thought, instead of saying it, ‘I’ll just show everyone again, I’m still #1.’
