A 23-year-old man will be spending the next few years in jail after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the 2013 death of a Regina man.
Ronald Matthew Kay, 32, was last seen at Mosaic Stadium on Nov. 10, 2013, and was reported missing later that month.
Kay’s remains were never found but three men were charged with second-degree murder.
On Wednesday, Lester Favel, 23, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in Kay’s death.
He was sentenced to over seven years in prison. With credit for time served, Favel has four years, nine-and-a-half months remaining.
Another man in Kay’s death was sentenced earlier in 2018.
