Regina police are now treating the shooting in south Regina as a murder investigation.
A 21-year-old man died early Wednesday morning after suffering a gunshot wound around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night on the 2800 block of Sinton Avenue.
EMS transported the man to hospital but he died the next morning.
While the man’s family has been notified, police said the identity of the victim will not be made public at this point in the investigation.
Police are continuing to work along with the Office of the Chief Coroner to investigate and clarify the circumstances surround the death.
