The Saskatchewan Roughriders take on the B.C. Lions on Saturday but we won’t truly know the significance of that game until tonight.
The Riders Patrick Lavoie joined the Green Zone and audibly sounded giddy about watching the Stampeders and Bombers tonight.
The players all know the Bombers could do the Riders a huge favour with a win over Calgary.
That means to get first for the Riders, it’s clear. They need to beat B.C. this week and then have B.C. beat Calgary next week.
If Calgary does end up beating the Bombers, thus ending the hopes of first for the Riders, Saturday’s game is still a huge one as B.C. is still trying chase down the Riders to get a home playoff game.
So if you’re a fan who only watches the Riders. You may want to turn on the television tonight as Calgary vs Winnipeg is one of the biggest games of the year for Saskatchewan.
