Murray Wood: It's time to pull over reckless people on scooters, bikes
Murray Wood says he's had too many close calls with people on scooters, bikes and skateboards. But he's never seen them ...
A little boy that ran out into the street walked away with minor injuries after being hit by a truck.
Regina police responded around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday to the 2800 block of Dewdney Avenue East.
The investigation shows the three-year-old was hit by a truck going at a low speed when he ran into traffic.
He was taken to hospital as a precaution.
After being closed for the investigation, police have re-opened the area to traffic.
Police did not provide any information about the driver or any charges.
Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story stated that the child hit by a truck was a girl. Regina Police confirmed Thursday that the child was a boy.
