Police are looking for two men after they attempted to steal a vehicle from the downtown area on Wednesday.
Officers were called to a back alley in the 1900 block of Quebec Street at around 8:15 p.m., where two suspects reportedly threatened a man and a woman with a weapon and tried to take money and the woman’s vehicle.
The two men failed to take any money or the car, and quickly drove off in a small SUV.
The male victim suffered minor injuries as a result, and was treated in hospital.
Police are now asking for help in identifying the suspects in their investigation.
The first suspect is described as an Indigenous male, between five feet, nine inches and five feet, 11 inches in height, wearing a black sweater and a black and white bandana over his face.
The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male, between five feet, five inches and five feet, eight inches in height, wearing a white/grey sweater, a black and white bandana covering his face along with a pair of glasses.
