The original guard of the Saskatchewan Party is shrinking again as long-time MLA Dan D’Autremont announced his retirement Thursday night.
The Cannington representative was in his riding in Arcola Thursday for a “meet the premier” event when he announced the news.
He said he will stay in his seat until the end of his term in 2020, but will not run for re-election.
D’Autremont was one of founding members of the Saskatchewan Party, and was first elected to the legislature in 1991.
