Canadian Border services is working with RCMP after dozens of guns were stolen from a home in southeast Saskatchewan.
Carnduff RCMP responded to reports of a break and enter at a residence outside Storthoaks, Sask. on Wednesday, located about 250 kilometres southeast of Regina.
Police discovered over 70 guns were missing, including 46 prohibited handguns and 27 restricted handguns.
The break-in happened while the home owner — an avid gun collector — wasn’t home.
Three prohibited rifles, one restricted rifle and an unknown quantity of ammunition.
RCMP said in a release Thursday the guns and ammunition appeared to have been stored properly, in accordance with firearm regulations.
Officers are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen something.
